2022 marked the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. To commemorate this historic milestone a series of events and initiatives were held throughout Norfolk to celebrate the occasion and leave an enduring legacy for our county.
The Queen had a deep affection for Norfolk – an affection that was repaid tenfold by its inhabitants. To demonstrate our love, respect and enormous gratitude for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s 70 years of remarkable service, we put together a series of events and tributes to honour a very special lady in her 70th year as Queen. Many of these tributes have an enduring legacy which extends into the reign of our new monarch His Majesty King Charles III, and also serve as a reminder of the absolute integrity
Over 1,000 children and adults from across Norfolk performed songs and music from around the world.
