Jenkins has been used by KDE prior to Gitlab for CI/CD and other automation tasks, but is being phased out with all those things being unified on Gitlab. Jenkins is also still tied to Phabricator for user authentication, which is another legacy system we want to retire.
There are basically two remaining types of tasks on Jenkins:
