Pinceaux is a GPU-accelerated digital painting application for Linux and Android. It relies on OpenGL ES 2.0 for its algorithms and should run adequately on older hardware.
It's written in C99 and built on top of a slightly modified SDL2 with Android support. There are some Java support classes to bridge Android and SDL2. It should run on Android 4.1 (API level 16) and up.
This software is still very much in development, it might break and forget its settings and brushes.
