The technology is here. I now offer live, remote piano & keyboard lessons. For those who are outside the driving area to my studio, in another locale or state, or who simply don’t want to drive, you can now take lessons online. We work on all the same skills that we would at in-person lessons in the studio.
I often get calls from people who want to take lessons, but are just a bit too far to drive to my studio. In addition, I get calls from people from all over the country who like my philosophy of teaching, or maybe want to work on a specialty that I offer, like Blues Piano. I now provide remote lessons to anywhere in the U.S.
It’s very simple. At their scheduled lesson time, I call students using Facetime, Zoom, or Google Duo. That’s it.
