Description: A blog about James Joyce's Finnegans Wake
'riverrun, past Eve and Adams, from swerve of shore to bend of bay, brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs.' Finnegans Wake
Joyce found 'Rosevean, from Bridgwater, with bricks' in the Shipping News section of the Freeman's Journal , 16 June 1904. It's interesting to look at the other ships he could have picked (Eblana or Blackwater from Liverpool).
Imagine all those ships coming and going!
