We are PerPetrol, a team of 4 Year 10 students from Blue Mountains Grammar School in NSW. We are competing in the 2020/2021 F1 in schools™ Competition. In April 2021 we will be participating in the Australian National Final in Melbourne, against the best teams from across the country. We qualified from the regional final and NSW final in second place, taking out 4 awards in marketing and innovation. This places us _ th in Australia heading into the National Finals!
F1 in Schools is the world's largest student STEM competition with more than 70 nations who take part. The task is to design, test and race miniature F1 cars, along with marketing, multiple presentations and interviews to a panel of judges. We aim to qualify for the World Finals, where we can represent our country on an international stage. The competition is a great learning opportunity and opens up multiple career pathways for the future.
