Background Paul started on his "musical" journey about 10 years ago. Having been born and raised in Northeast Texas, he lived and worked in that area until 2001, when he made the decision to make a change and move to Austin. He had always been interested in writing poetry, and prose, but didn't discover songwriting until fairly recently. With some background in the drums and piano, he took up playing the guitar in the late 1990's. Once he gained some experience in playing, writing songs was the natural next
