Through decades of personal experience in foster care and years of trauma training, the husband and wife founders of Patsy’s Hope want to bring the healing tools of Trauma Informed Care and Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) to our community of Caregivers. They wished they had this information when they were raising their children.
What good is it to know what may be causing difficult behavior in a child if there isn’t a solution that works without harming the relationship? That’s the knowledge Patsy’s Hope wants to bring to families and organizations that care for children through Trauma Informed Care and TBRI® (Trust Based Relational Intervention) training.
TBRI® is an evidenced based protocol that is holistic, attachment based and addresses the mind, body and soul of a child through a relationship based model. Trauma was caused in a relationship and that is where it can be reversed. Thank goodness our brain has the neuroplasticity to allow this transformation.
