Parimal started exploring the hidden joys of music from a tender age of four under the able guidance of his father Sri. Nikhil Chandra Chakrabarty . Later he also got the opportunity to take "talim" from Late Ram Dhrube and Late Padmabhushan Pandit Gyan Prakash Ghosh .
