Have you tried paper weaving? It was taught in 19th century German elementary schools and the original instructions were written by  Friedrich Froebel , the inventor of Kindergarten. The original designs were based on textile weaves but modern paper artists such as Helen Hiebert and Holly Chastain have taken it to a new level by playing with curved lines, windows and more. Let’s talk about this and other nontraditional approaches to paper cutting.

Crafty Hours happen every 2nd Sunday, and are free to all members . Come hang out, bring a beverage, some paper, and whatever you use to cut: Scissors, knife, sheep shears, scalpel, chainsaw, sickle…. We won’t judge! You do you. If you are a GAP Member, look out in your email for the monthly link.
