Over 800 residents attended our previous round of exhibitions that we held during July 2005 at Daventry, Dodford, Norton and Weedon. Comments made during and following the exhibitions have led to many of the changes to the scheme.

Daventry will grow significantly over the next 20 years. As part of the Government's Sustainable Communities Plan, the Milton Keynes and South Midlands Sub-Region has been designated as a growth area to help address the national shortage of housing and strengthen the local economy. Thousands of new homes and jobs are planned for West Northamptonshire of which a significant proportion will be in Daventry.
