David is a leader and teacher in his church, St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, where he and his wife, Rebecca Palmer, have attended since they met there and were married nearly 30 years ago. As a resident of the City of Southside place since 1986, David has served his community in a civic leadership and volunteer capacity on the Southside Place Park Board, the Southside Place Men’s Civic Club, and was elected to three two year terms as a City Councilman.
