After getting a bit of writing done (about three hours’ work), I took a break, walking around the Casumo complex to free up my mind a bit and get some new ideas. It was another process I did for my writing. I needed to walk around a bit, thinking idly, in order to get some new ideas and be able to function properly as a writer.
Well, not just walking around, but doing and thinking about things other than writing helps relax me. And being relaxed makes the writing go smoothly for me. So besides walking around, some days I could go to Casumo casino and play a few slots, other days I’d go to the bar and down a couple of drinks. Sometimes, doing household chores helped, too.
But mostly, being at Casumo helps me a lot. I guess it’s just a very familiar place to me. It’s been my stomping grounds since the first month after it was built.
