OKF was established in 2009 by Dr. Kofi Osei-Kusi and Mrs. Jacqueline Osei-Kusi. In November 2011, the Foundation started its full operations with the purpose of serving as a vehicle that will invest in young people and create a new breed for public leadership across all spheres. Prior this, Dr. Kofi Osei-Kusi had been involved in mentoring young people for over two decades
OKF is governed by a Board of Trustees with support from an international Advisory Board. The Foundation is currently run on a day-to-day basis by an Executive President, a management team, support staff and volunteers.
