"I grew up and became an artist thinking and believing that today’s world of information would forever be a science-fiction story. In 1968 I began to paint and, since then, I have only stopped for short periods in order to dedicate myself to cinema, video or equally important special activities. Art for me has been a dream. In this dream I’m a castaway lost in space and time, and my works are messages thrown out in bottles in the vain hope that they reach a miraculous destination.
