While I wish this sentiment meant I was in Hawaii (which I sadly am not), it still seems to fit my final President's Message as I say both Hello & Good Bye!
I stepped into this role in the summer of 2021 shortly before Wave 4, the Delta variant wave, hit Alberta. I don't need to recap that time for anyone reading this message, but rather am happy to be writing this final message during a more normative time for the healthcare system.
Congratulations to all that have now gone live with Connect Care/ SPM throughout the province, and good luck to those preparing for Wave 7! Please know that some of your stress will ease immediately with Go Live, but most of your stress or concerns are valid so keep advocating and asking questions!
