Strong and intelligent women in the developing world are rarely given the same opportunities as men. Despite their work ethic, desire and drive, it is almost impossible for them to get ahead.
FINCA Canada strives to change this by providing women in Haiti and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) with the opportunity to become agents of change. In addition to alleviating poverty in the developing world, FINCA Canada has set a goal to raise $15 million to improve women’s access to financial services.
