1980 Terence Ryan formed Opix Films with Ray Marshall. The company would produce over 120 films and television series. Thirty films made at Opix won international awards. Ryan wrote, directed and produced the seven-part series, FOCUS ON SOCCER with Sir Matt Busby for HTV. The series sold world-wide with six million copies sold to China.
1982 With the development of the Video industry and expansion of the International Television market Ryan and Marshall believed it was time for an Independent British Television Sales Company. They set up OPIX Films & Television Distribution . It became the first sale Company for the new Channel 4, RKO, S4C plus over forty independent Producers.
