When you come to The Refuge you will experience the Peace of God in a quiet and restful atmosphere on 17 acres of forest land, with lodging in first-class (Main Lodge) to rustic (Cabins) accommodations and recreational opportunities both on-site and in the immediate area.
Robbie and Jim Edgren are the permanent volunteer staff at The Refuge, hosting various groups of guests coming for retreats. reunions and special events. Jim, the Executive Director, is a retired Army Chaplain, with 32 years of service, while Robbie, trained as a Christian Educator, brings her many years of teaching experience to this ministry. She also serves as hostess, housekeeper and gardener. Together they have been welcoming folks from all walks of life to The Refuge since 2006 when the first retreat
