I must give all the props to my daughter for the conversation we recently had about the writers/actors strike in Hollywood. She was a bit perturbed by some who were demonstrating short sightedness about the strike. Their only interest in the strike is that it is over quickly, so they can be assured of seeing their favorite shows on television this fall. They fail to see how impactful this labor action will be on countless industries and the people who make the livelihood from them.
