Since the 1960's, the West Highland White Terrier Club of Northern Ohio (WHWTCNO) has been an all-volunteer organization that exists for the sole purpose of preserving and protecting the breed. This is accomplished by educating the public and by rescuing Westies in need.
The WHWTCNO recognizes its responsibility to preserve and protect the West Highland White Terrier. It further recognizes that the quality and reputation of the breed rests squarely in the hands of its breeders.
