The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), aka Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), was signed into law by President Biden on November 15, 2021. On May 10th, the U.S. Department of Treasury released guidance on the State and Local Coronavirus Fiscal Recovery Fund (Recovery Fund), part of the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act. The bill includes $130 billion in direct, flexible aid to States and Local Governments as well as other crucial investments in local communities.
