Description: The Northwest Fishing Derby Series is a fishing promotion program directed by the Northwest Marine Trade Association (NMTA) – the producers of the Seattle Boat Show – has a new name and includes some new fish species.
Thanks for visiting the Northwest Fishing Derby Series. In 2021, the Northwest Marine Trade Association (NMTA), after 18 years, made the difficult decision to discontinue the Northwest Fishing Derby Series indefinitely.
While there will no longer be a Grand Prize Boat package and NMTA will no longer be coordinating the Series for the foreseeable future, NMTA encourages anglers to continue to compete in all of their favorite fishing events as these events are all produced by individual entities, not NMTA, and are likely still happening depending on fishing seasons. Below is a list of local fishing event websites, fishing clubs, and past participants of the NW Fishing Derby Series for more information and to get involved.
