Description: Niklas Stoehr is working on the measurement of latent, ordinal intensity concepts (conflict intensity, sentiment analysis, pain assessment...). He is a PhD student at the Institute for Machine Learning at ETH Zurich and has experience in industry (IBM AI Core, Microsoft Research, German Federal Foreign Office) and research (University College London, University of Oxford, Tsinghua University, TU Berlin).
My work aims at making latent (often ordinal) intensity concepts measurable (friend-enemy relationships, conflict intensity, sentiment analysis, ...). I am a PhD student at the Institute for Machine Learning at ETH Zurich and have experience in industry ( Bloomberg , IBM , Microsoft Research , German Federal Foreign Office ) and research ( UCL , University of Oxford , Tsinghua University ).
