New Horizons Band in the Pines is for adults of all ages who want to make new friends and share their love of music. We welcome anyone who has some familiarity with music and has their own instrument. If you have not played for years (or decades!) and thought you never would again, our band is for you!
We regularly perform concerts at local venues including the Senior Enrichment Center, Chapel in the Pines, Penick Village, Quail Haven Village, Pine Knoll and Belle Meade. Our Swing Band opened for the Sandhills Community College Jazz Band this summer. They perform at the above and smaller venues. We have performed at Holly Arts and Crafts Festival in the Village of Pinehurst.
We are a member of the New Horizons International Music Association which sponsors musical groups all over the USA and in several other countries.
