Dr. Abbas Taheri was born in Iran in 1951. He studied medicine and received his neurosurgical training at the University of Tehran from 1969 to 1982. He started his research on the clinical consequences of cerebral bleedings as assistant professor of neurosurgery in University of Berlin from 1985 to 1988.
