Description: NMT works with smallholder farmer co-operatives to support sustainable macadamia farming. We call it Climate Smart Macadamia Agroforestry which includes traditional ground crop intercropped with the trees to provide food security for smallholders whose environement is continually at risk of climate shocks that create food shortages. We plant macadamia trees in Malawi building agroforestry, generating income and building sustainable local environments, more resilient to climate change.
