Hallelujah Anyway, Anyway in the New York Times As COVID lockdown restrictions were lifting, I was excited to create a short video for the New York Times Op-Docs section. For the project, I revisited a video I shot in the early 1990s, of shopkeepers near my East Village apartment throwing open their gates in the morning, to reflect on life in New York City right now.
