Lefkada, also called Lefkas, is a beautiful Greek island in the Ionian Sea on the west coast of Greece; south of Corfu and North of Kefalonia island. The island is connected to the mainland by a long causeway and floating bridge.
In 1963, Aristoteles Onassis bought the island of Scorpios, next to Lefkada, and placed Greece in the spotlight of the world. Since then, Lefkada also became known all around the world.
Lefkada is well-known for its beaches, impressive in length and divine in beauty are located at the west coastline of Lefkada. Sandy, crystal-clear water beaches with the vegetation that reaches the edge and with wild, imposing rocks, just simply amazing beaches… Amoglossa, Castro, Gira, Aghios Ioannis, Pefkoulia, Aghios Nikitas, Milos, Kathisma, Gialos, Egremni and Porto Katsiki.
