H earing I mpaired T oddlers and C hildren H ave U nlimited P otential Triangle Area Hitch-Up is a group of local parents who have children with hearing loss. We meet monthly to offer mutual support, educate ourselves, socialize, and learn how to advocate effectively for our children. Hitch-Up welcomes all families of deaf and hard of hearing children, regardless of their chosen mode of communication. Meetings alternate between informal gatherings to share our experiences and concerns and a variety of guest speakers on relevant topics. In addition to the monthly meetings, the group gets together for an annual picnic and a holiday party.
