The Niels Bohr Professorship aims to kindle innovation in psychiatric epidemiology. The research is funded by the Danish National Research Foundation. and is based at the National Centre for Register-based Research, Aarhus BSS, Aarhus University, Denmark.
The research focusses on psychiatric epidemiology - we want to estimate the frequency of mental disorders in the community, and learn more about the nature of mental disorders. For example we wish to examine comorbidity - how different types of mental disorders combine with other disorders.
