Situated on the banks of the historic Bugsworth canal basin, this dog-friendly Inn is perfectly positioned for both a gentle stroll or challenging hike, or even a cycle stop. Nestled in the hills of the Peak District, you can enjoy good plates of home cooked fare, real ales and a good selection of spirits including gins.
There’s a place for everyone; outside you will find seats on the patio or in the enclosed beer garden. Inside you will find a range of rooms from the main restaurant right through to the bar or games room. Finally there is somewhere to rest your head in one of our six en suite rooms.
For the narrowboating community, the Basin is a prime location with plenty of mooring spaces within. We are an ideal place to meet your biking, hiking and boating friends in a warm family atmosphere.
