I’m a freelance culture writer and film critic. I’m also a columnist for The Globe and Mail and a contributing Books editor to Zoomer magazine.
I cover books, design, fashion, and entertainment (often at the intersection of commerce) and belong to the Toronto Film Critics’ Association . I do author interviews and literary essays, and write the popular monthly Novel Encounters fiction column . I’ve been a guest lecturer at TIFF , Toronto Metropolitan University, the Bata Shoe Museum , Hot Docs , the Museum of Fine Arts Boston and the Art Gallery of Ontario.
