With your help, Stand Up & Learn™ has grown leaps and bounds since last year, and we draw ever closer to our goal of developing a formal curriculum. Over the past year, the Nantucket Comedy Festival has worked with numerous curriculum specialists to help hone and enrich Stand Up & Learn ‘ s™ lessons and program. These educators are formalizing the great work that has already been done, and crafting a program that can be taught by many more teachers.
Founded in 2007 by Kevin Flynn, the Nantucket Comedy Festival is an annual summer event that brings top comedic talent to Nantucket Island as the major fundraiser for Stand Up & Learn™, an island-based, year-round comedy education program serving Nantucket’s children. The Nantucket Comedy Festival envisions Nantucket as a community connected by laughter. Please join us for the 2023 Festival on July 13-15.
