I have a small, polished, river stone at home with these words painted on it, “To Love a person is to learn the Song that is in their Heart and to Sing it to them when they have forgotten.” I believe this is the essence of my practice as psychotherapist.
Most people are experiencing some level of distress in at least one area of their lives when they reach out for therapy.
