Spearfishing in Key West Florida! Capt. Michelle moved to the Florida Keys with her family in 1978. As a young girl she was given the job of carrying the catch bag for the boys into which they would put their lobster and fish they had speared. She decided then and there that she would run her own boat one day and would no longer be left "holding the bag". Spear It Charters runs a 2005 27 ft Contender. Powered by twin 300 Yamaha four strokes. She was custom built in Homestead, FL. She holds 225 gallons of fuel. Her top speed in 60 mph which helps make short work of long offshore runs. She has state of the art electronics including Garmin GPS, Furuno depth finder. A Uniden marine radio and CD player are provided for onboard entertainment while trolling or just keeping up to date of sport scores. The live well will ensure that there is plenty of live bait on
