Use this page to download MycoMatch Mushrooms of the Pacific Northwest Version 2.4.1 The downloaded file for Windows PC is about 0.90 gigabytes (takes a few minutes to over 20 minutes) and the program takes 1.0 gigabyte on your hard drive. The program was written for Windows PC. It has been able to run on a Mac computer with the Windows simulator Parallels. The Beta version for Mac is still version 2.4.0, designed to work on the current Mac operating system. Its download is larger, about 1.2 gigabytes.
MycoMatch (MatchMaker) is a program to help identify mushrooms of the Pacific Northwest. It contains a database of over 4200 descriptions of gilled and nongilled mushroom species. There is an interface for entering mushroom characteristics to find species that fit those characteristics. There are about 6800 illustrations of about nearly 2500 taxa, from 220 different photographers. THE PHOTOGRAPHERS HOLD COPYRIGHT FOR ALL OF THE PHOTOS. DO NOT USE THEM FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
