Athletics SA offers athletics competitions and services for athletes of a variety of ages and abilities in South Australia.
Founded in 1973, the South Australian Little Athletics Association (SALAA) is a community-focused organisation which promotes the uniquely Australian sport of Athletics for children aged 3-17 years. The events are specially modified to suit the ages and abilities of children and a wide range of running, jumping, throwing and walking events are conducted. Each year across South Australia, approximately 8,000 boys and girls enjoy the activities that Little Athletics has to offer, along with 12,500 volunteers
Free, timed 5K running/walking events held every Saturday morning around Australia.
