Your Teachers
Mike Montgomery is our piano and percussion instructor who has been teaching private music lessons for over 30 years. He studied percussion performance & classical piano at The Hartt School / University of Hartford . His studies included all aspects of percussion, ear training and jazz drumming with the renowned timpanist and educator Alexander Lepak . He also studied jazz piano and music theory with Ray Cassarino, onetime member of Woody Herman’s band.
