Initially, HelpUS was a website designed to share some of the information I gathered and created to teach computer courses at Southern Oregon State College before there were any official courses on repairing or upgrading computers. Over the years, the 'speed' of computers have changed a bit, floppy discs have disappeared, USB has become the interface standard, operating systems upgraded, and custom computers are less common. Every once in a while there were be a variety of emails, help us this... or help us that. Most of the serious ones I've tried to respond to or pass on to someone I thought might be able to actually help... at least provide information, a suggested path or means, in which to move to the next step.
