HVS, located on East Road on the border of Plattekill and Marlboro in the little “town” of “Dawesville”, was one of the few companies with a “vacuum truck”, . After many changes in the business and more family members getting involved, Henry changed the company name to “B&G Dawes Inc.” (Bambi & Gregory) in the 70s.
