On June 18, Melissa Beyrand was crowned Miss Michigan 2022. She inspired the audience with a violin performance of “The Final Countdown,” and communicated her passion for keeping the arts in school with her social impact initiative of "Women in STEAM". She exhibited confidence throughout the evening.

Melissa competed as Miss Oakland County against 19 other beautiful ladies representing various local competitions. She will now compete in the Miss America competition which will be broadcast live in December from Uncasvile, CT. 

On June 17, Grace Larsen was crowned Miss Michigan’s Outstanding Teen 2022. For her talent she performed a musical theater dance routine to “Sam, You Made the Pants Too Long”. For the evening gown and on-stage question portion of the competition, Grace wore a gorgeous white satin gown with a sequin waistline and straps. She showed determination and dedication through her fitness routine, talent performance and on-stage question.
