Description: Mission Giant began making electronic music in the Fall of 1996 after the short-lived Denton, TX spacerock trio, Prismatic Otter, disbanded. Two of the former Otters, Gavin DeCuir and M, started to coax sounds from any device they could find which had an electric pulse. That sticky spot right where glam meets new wave meets art work is where these Denton, TX freaks fly. Not always sure what they’re on about but that’s part of the fun. Synths occasionally gobble each other up and Ms Pacman is in the house while other times it sounds like Bowie on vocals. I must say, they’ve piqued my curiousity.
