Description: Misa Nikolic is an artist and writer based in Prince George. He was born in Winnipeg and has also lived in Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, and Vancouver. He studied painting at the Alberta College of Art and Design in the mid 1990s, followed by an intensive art history program at the University of Saskatchewan. In 2001 he received his Master's from the University of British Columbia.

Misa Nikolic is an artist and writer living in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada. His art practice addresses the relationship between architecture and history, inspired by the critical writings of Walter Benjamin. First known for his hard-edge painting style, Misa began to pursue realism in his post-graduate work and has increasingly turned to photography.
Misa recently completed a dissertation in art history on the historiography of political caricature. He is now teaching at the College of New Caledonia.
