Welcome to the Mighty Michigan District, the birthplace of Kiwanis. Since January 1915, we have been serving the children and communities of Michigan. We are a diverse mix of ages, genders, occupations, backgrounds and interests, all working together to make the world a better place for children so they can thrive. We are actually a family of service organizations. Led by our adult Kiwanis clubs, we support high school students in service through Key Clubs , junior high students with Builders Clubs , elementary kids through K-Kids , our collegiate leaders through CKI , and adults with disabilities with Aktion Clubs . Through this family of service organizations, we are able to bring every generation together to make the world a better place and ensure that today’s children will grow up to be tomorrow’s service leaders
