I’m currently working as a Senior Specialist Solutions Architect for NoSQL Databases across EMEA for Amazon Web Services . Previously, I have been Tehnical Director for Your Favourite Story and Saatchi & Saatchi London , before that I worked as Technical Lead at Outside Line. My job involves me working with HTML5, CSS2/3, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, XML, MVC Frameworks (specifically CodeIgniter), Information Architecture, Apache & Linux administration and Standards Based Development.
I'm a keen advocate and user of Amazon Web Services and make use of EC2, EBS, S3, CloudFront, RDS, ELB and Route 53 on an almost daily basis. I have experience building bespoke Facebook solutions. These range from simple page tabs to fully-blown applications utilising the native Facebook APIs and social plugins that interact with the user both inside of, and externally from, the Facebook website. I have worked with various APIs and other web services ranging from maps to music to UK SMS integration.
As a freelancer I’ve had the privilege of doing work for some great clients which include Warner Brothers (UK) and Heineken Music. I’ve also written a few PHP tutorials for .net magazine (Future Publishing) during my spare time.
