It is our belief at MSM that each therapist serves as a “facilitator” in helping others achieve optimal health and well-being. Such a belief necessitates a “holistic” approach to health in which the human body’s physical, mental, and spiritual entities are viewed as constantly seeking to maintain balance and harmony.
This also requires a very fundamental understanding of the numerous structural (anatomy) and functional (physiology) relationships that exist within the body, and how the skilled therapist can intervene and influence these in a positive, health-promoting way.
