micollegesonline.org - Michigan Colleges Online

Description: Michigan Colleges Online allows students the opportunity to take classes that aren't available at their own college for various reasons, while still receiving support services at their convenient home college. All credits earned at Provider Colleges transfer back to the student's Home College. The Michigan Community College Association created MCO in cooperation with Michigan's community colleges as a vehicle to provide access to more courses and programs for students.

As of Winter/Spring 2023, Michigan Colleges Online in its current form will be retired and transitioned to the Center for Collaborative Programs to support the EPiC Consortium partner colleges in their delivery of online degree and certificate programs. Singular online courses not part of the consortium will no longer be offered through the MCO.

At this time, the MCCA is working to identify vendors that provide course sharing and cross-registration services that colleges may choose to opt into that will replace the role the MCO has provided in the past.
