"Painting horses portrayed in the western way of life is not a want but a need for me. I am compelled to capture this way of life and I am very fortunate to be able to touch on it. My desire to convey this rich and varied, rugged lifestyle to the viewer in multiple mediums continually inspires me. It is the horse’s power, form and energy that fuels my desire to paint and draw."
