Michael K. Cecil has been researching Australian military history since the early 1970s. His first book was published in the early 1990s, and he has now written 16 major books. Michael continues to contribute articles to many publications and websites around the world. He was formerly Head of Military Heraldry and Technology at the Australian War Memorial.
